What the material is for
We publish commentary and reference material about games of chance and games of skill. None of it is gambling advice, financial advice, tax guidance or a legal opinion, and none of it is written to encourage anyone to stake money. Losses are the reader’s own, and so are the decisions that led to them.
About the chance-to-skill line
The positions shown on our front-page line are editorial judgements about how much a category rewards knowledge. They are not measurements, not a ranking of expected return, and not a recommendation to play anything.
Who may read it
Nothing here is written for minors, and the site assumes a reader old enough to gamble lawfully where they live. Those rules are national, they move, and checking them is the reader’s job rather than ours. Our responsible gambling page sets out the rest.
Dating and corrections
Every article carries the date it went up, and a draw format or operator rule described in 2019 may look nothing like the 2026 version. Mistakes get fixed once we hear about them: [email protected].
The odds calculator
The lottery odds calculator runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing. It reports jackpot odds for the draw format you enter; it cannot know about rule changes, rollover caps or secondary prize tiers. Always check the operator’s published rules.
Where our links go
Articles and sidebar slots on this site point outwards, sometimes to advertisers and sometimes to gambling operators. Whatever sits at the far end of a link is that company’s responsibility: its copy, its small print, its conduct. Treat a link as a pointer and nothing more.
